Exploration Close to Home
The Staycation
Spring Break is around the corner, and scheduling that week can be a lot. You're not headed off on a vacation, but you also don't want your kids to have to sit at home or scramble to find a solution.
Our uniquely designed weeklong camp is made for them and for you.
It's a chance to give your kids a week of exploration, discovery, and untrammeled fun.
At Lily Lake, we believe childhood is precious (for all ages), and we are excited to offer a full five days of survival and exploration-based learning where kids ages 5+ can learn everything from how to build a campfire and shelter skills to the history and engineering behind Indigenous practices.
We would love to have your amazing kids join us for this week of outdoor fun!

What to Expect
The Spring Break camp is built on Lily Lake's foundation of "childhood untrammeled." To us, that means children get the richness of learning through exploration and hands-on learning. Below outlines the camp basics:
Curiousity-Driven
Children learn best when they have natural curiosity for a topic.
Hosting a camp for a broad age range (5+) means offering a variety of options within each learning objective.
We encourage students to make the learning their own and to elaborate on the exercises in ways that feels the most productive to them.
Learning Objectives
We love practical learning opportunities! And what better way to prepare for the summer season than learning some survival and camping basics.
On our sprawling outdoor learning campus, kids will learn foraging, fire-building, camp-style cooking, shelter skills, and more!
We will also study the history of Indigenous practices.
Schedule
Our camp will run Monday-Friday, March 16-20 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
We understand many parents are working that week, so we offer add-on care for those who need to stay until 5 p.m. (+$75 for the week).
We're located in between Andover and Augusta in a beautiful 1920s renovated school building.

Why Lily Lake?
Community
Similar to a traditional homeschool co-op, Lily Lake provides a space for homeschool families to socialize and learn together.
Support
Caregivers who work outside the home and want to homeschool, but need time to do other things kid-free: we are here for you. Lily Lake is a drop-off program so you can run errands, work, or just sit and do nothing in silence. Want to stay? Feel free to join in the fun or bring a laptop and work from the Collective.
Flexibility
Our drop-in model was purposely designated to allow maximum flexibility for our member families. We recognize that lives are busy and schedules vary, and the last thing many of us want is one more commitment.
Variety
Based on the needs and interests of our community, we hope to become a comprehensive resource for homeschool families in the area so they aren’t constantly driving children from class to class all over the city.
We popped into Lily Lake today to explore the Play Cafe with our toddler. The space is incredible; it’s thoughtful, clean, spacious, and fun.I would highly recommend Lily Lake. We’ll definitely be back for play days, lunch, remote work sessions, etc.

So amazing!! The cafe had great options for me, and the kids'facilities were incredible! A climbing wall, slide, ball pit, riding toys, and so much more!!! I can't believe I've missed out on this hidden gem!

Lily Lake went from being a part of our homeschool approach to our extended family. The community being built is rare to find and one that our girls are thriving in. Can't wait to watch it continue to grow!
